During the pandemic, Boch thought of the lack of medical care and health facilities in Wajinja. In rural Uganda, there is typically just one doctor per 22,000 residents. Public health facilities are 50+ miles away, underfunded, and under-equipped, leaving most of the country with little access to quality care and treatment. Boch works with community leader Derrick to begin construction on a healthcare facility.
